185 It was a princess that was very weak, but she had perfect eyesight, could see for miles and miles because the goddess lived in her. She had an evil father who held her hostage, and her mom hostage for her whole life because she lived in a tower. Then there's a savage king who she meets, and in their culture it's very important to not lie, and he thinks she lied because his parents were killed by her evil dad.

I think I read the book in 2016-2020 but I could be wrong.

More detailed:
The "king" had his parents killed by the girl's evil dad after luring them into his kingdom with promises of an alliance. He killed the dad and captured the mom with his daughter in the tower. The daughter managed to escape and the mother approved of her to marry her son and gave his I think a ring to prove that.
The girl is then held hostage by the "king" who doesn't believe anything she says and threatens to rip her tongue out if she talks about his mother. He thinks she lied about his mom approving of her for him. In their culture it is VERY IMPORTANT to not lie. Later there is a counsel about this supposed lie and she finally proves she wasn't lying.
I remember that they were hiking on a horse and the girl got badly saddle sore. He also made her drink "moon potion" (don't think it was called that) which will prevent pregnancy, it is usually taken with a sleeping potion because it is very painful but they were out of the sleeping potion so she had to take it and was in a lot of pain and the "king" regretted putting her through that.
The girl discovers that she has perfect eyesight, can see for miles and mile ahead, because the Goddess sees though her eyes. Her mother was able to see everywhere and that is how the girl gets educated in the tower because her mom checked out all the marriage candidates and selected the "king".
Spoliers:
The Goddess gives some potion because the "king" gets bitten by something and it saves his life.
