Can’t remember the name of this new book I read the synopsis online this month any help would be appreciated in searching for the title.

Book Synopsis:

Other details:
I think the princess is trying to get her own protector that’s loyal to her and will protector against the threat to her crown. The hero I believe I read in the synopsis that he dislike the monarchy because either the death of his father. I believe the princess is fae or dragon or has powers.

Read this book about 1 year ago and I believe the cover has a woman in a dark blue dress. I might be confusing two books but I remember that it starts off mentioning that she lives in the slums or poor side of England and she rents a room and I believe she is taking care of a child her niece or nephew from her twin that is a soldier or a worker somewhere. The child ends up getting sick and she does know that she and her twin brother are illegitimate and who their father was since before her death her mother told her and also that she was a maid and was forced by the duke or titled man. The heroine needs a doctor for the child but has no money so she goes in search of the duke as to avoid her neighbor or landlord that asked her to sell her body to him and i believe she knows that the current titled gentleman is her brother. She knocks on the door and they tell her if she’s begging knock around back at the kitchen she wants to speak to the duke and then the lady of the house overhears and tells the butler not to be rude and she asks her what she needs . After this she ends up meeting her brother expecting him to reject her and send her on her way but the brother and up taking her in and helping her and knows that his father had a lot of illegitimate kids and he has been searching for them. Also at some point she meets the best friend of the duke or titled gentleman and he falls for heroine he is a viscount or titled man. They are in search of her missing twin brother. This is what I remember so far don’t know if i’m mistaking two books read around the same time but I do know for sure she has a twin brother and goes searching for her titled brother for help. Any help would be truly appreciated.

The plot begins with the Boy going to store get food but steals & runs away & the hero was in line because the owner of store told him that every so often kid would go there and steal ends up following the boy to his house & tries to grab him and that is where the heroine I believe her name is aunt abby arrives and tells the hero to unhand her nephew. go inside house to investigate what happened to missing sister & husband witness very messy house the kids had witnessed the mom being taken and her telling them to hide even if they heard a noise. The hero and heroine end up protecting the kids and he is an ex soldier and he helps her take the kids to his sisters house and helps her locate the missing sister. Read this book a few years ago .

Hello Paulina do you remember anything else any details such as: friends names, the hero or heroines names, the hero returns from traveling or war etc. Also does it take place in England or Scotland. Do you remember the series name life example there is a series called lords of sin.

I just remembered that she goes to fight with her brother and his men against the English taking over a castle near them and so they end up defeated and captured as prisoners the heroine Scottish Lass is dressed as a boy and all of her kin is protecting her in the pit they are place in. The hero keeps being suspicious as to why they all do the work and help and protect the skinny boy which is the heroine dressed as a boy. I know that the hero and his friend are always watching them through the window and his friend tells him that he should make them all rebuild the keep so all the prisoners outside in the pit start carrying the stone. The heroines brother does end up getting sick and the heroine is worried at this point the hero thinks that the heroine brother is her lover since he doesn’t know that it’s her brother. I do remember that the English hero figures out the heroine is a girl and she keeps trying to escape from the room that he placed her in.

No it’s not untamed, but thank you this sounds like a good book.

The Scottish heroine is dressed as a boy and her brother his soldiers captured and then placed in a cage in the middle of a courtyard by English hero. Then the hero’s friend tells him why don’t you makes them fix the keep and the hero notices that they always gather around the young boy and then he realizes that he is a boy and is made to live in the keep the she tries to escape and help her brother but the gets caught her brother is getting sick and needs a healer. The hero then marries her then her brother and soldiers escape and then someone shoots and arrow or stabs the hero and the heroine is trying to help him.

This are the few I do remember the names of. I have read others but don’t really remember the names of. But I do enjoy when the hero grovels and apologizes it shows a human quality that everyone can say things in the heat of the moment and not really mean them.

Any recommendations where heroine overhears hero talking bad about her to friend or family and she is hurt by it and he apologizes and says he doesn’t mean it. Any recommendation wil. Be greatly appreciated. I have read like two books with this topic.

Hello I am looking for a historical book that I read last year I don’t know if it was new I did read it on amazon kindle but can’t remember the name. The heroine in the book has a younger brother that gambles and is constantly drinking and getting into trouble he insults another lord (hero) and they are gonna duel. The sister the heroine finds out and dresses as brother and goes to fight the duel in his place. The Hero is there on the field with his 2nd which is his friend. The duel starts and the hero shoots the heroine thinking that it is her brother. She is shot on the shoulder and passes out. The hero then finds out that it is a girl and he takes her in his carriage to his home where he takes care of her because she is feverish. Any help would be appreciated to find this book any recommendations of similar plots will be grately appreciated.
