The beginning "main event" of the box is a house being sealed up due to a plague, and a little girl is still alive. She does not dies and is eventually rescued and taken away by a monk/priest and trained as a sorceress. She becomes queen also. I have some vague recollection that she belongs to a golden sun/serpent cult that is not evil.
