Don’s comments from the What's the Name of That Book??? group.

This book is about an Indiana Jones type of main character. He spans the globe, including a stint to Antarctica. I think it was a race against Nazis or Neo-Nazis to acquire some artifact. I think the cover had three pyramids on it.

The only scene from the book I remember is he was sitting down somewhere, and an interrogator throws a wallet at him. The main character does not flinch and it impresses him. Beyond that it is a race to gain some prize before the bad guys do.

I read this book in the early 1990s. I think it may have been published in the mid to late 1980s - but I am guessing. It is an English language book written by a male author. I read a mass market paperback. I read the book while in the army overseas (it was donated to us), but it was published in the United States, for sure.
