Not Rainbowheart. I seem to recall it being a light blue or light teal cover. Adult contemporary fiction (sorry, forgot to include that) is what I would most associate it with. I do remember there was also a friend/boyfriend in it as well.

I’m looking for the name and author of a book from around 2004-2006. Girl was about 13-16 and raised by gay uncle and his partner. They lived near an old shut down carnival or amusement park and I think it was based in the eastern part of the US. There was a boy in it that she liked and I seem to remember a tunnel of love type ride. I always thought it had a title similar to Alison Bechdel’s “Fun Home”, but I could be wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
