Thanks! I’m rereading that again cos funny story I was hunting Wait For You too but I couldn’t remember the title. I had google books about a pet turtle named Raphael & I found it from a Goodreads post lol. But as I was reading it I had a funny feeling that maybe it was all just the Wait For You series. 🤔🤭 I’m on to Be With Me now so I’ll keep the thread updated to see if it is actually all just this series. ☺️

I can’t exactly remember how her mother passed nor do I remember where her father is sorry.

She’s an adult in the novel, no siblings, not sure what her former job was but when she moved back to her hometown she was bar tending/waitressing at the restaurant/pub that was formerly owned by her mother (who then sold it to a man cos the business was failing). It’s a small town from what I remember.

Sorry I can’t be of any more help. 😣

Okay so it’s about this woman who returns to her hometown (I think after her mother passes, that’s why she initially came back) to tie up loose ends. Her mother owned a restaurant/pub and I think that’s why she came back. Only when she came back she found out that said restaurant/pub had been sold to a man. Said man has put a lot of effort into the restaurant/pub and it’s doing waaaay better than when her mum owned it. Then I’m pretty sure she was working there with said man as her boss for a bit. Maybe there was like a security threat at her home one night (break in or unrecognised vehicle on property)

Also. I think she spent a night cap at said mans house and found him to have A LOT of new unused toothbrushes. There’s a story behind it thou and I think it has something to do with his mother.

JUST INCASE these two descriptions may or may not be from the same book. The toothbrush detail just really stood out for me and if anyone knows ANY book with that detail in it please let me know.
