That might be right. The title sounds familiar and it came out in the 90s. I'd have to read it again to be sure. Thanks for the suggestion.

It is crime fiction, but it might have been a mystery and for adults. I think it was set in the present time. I seem to recall it involving a suburban neighborhood but I'm not certain if there is a street on the cover.

Back in the late 90s or early 00s a girl I used to exchange e-mails with recommended this book. I think it had a high heel on the cover and I think it was about a serial killer who targeted women and kept some of their clothes.
