193869 Sounds good! I'm game. Would love a list of recommendations!

193869 I remember liking the Hickman but details are fuzzy, might be worth a re-read. I just finished Bendis' daredevil which I absolutely loved so I'll keep my eyes open for the Avengers for sure!

193869 Fun! I haven't done done that one yet, but I tend to have good experiences with Bendis.

193869 I'm in striking distance of finishing Bendis' entire Daredevil run this month. Just two more books. It's been a lot of fun, but it does make you wish you had more hours in the day!

193869 Just now cracking the spine on Bendis' Daredevil vol.9 King of Hell's kitchen.

13 total daredevil books this month ( I totally did that on accident!)
I've been having a great time starting with the Smith and working thing chronologically out of the early 2000's.
193869 Blacksad is one of my all time favs! I've read both French and English, but I'm unsure about a Spanish edition as well.

This August I've dedicated to Daredevil. I'm working through the Smith, Bendis, and others as we speak.

Since I live abroad having digital comics has been a life saver! Comixology was such a great nerd-resource and then amazon really had no clue what they were doing when the acquired it. It still drives me crazy that I can't do a simple thing like organize my books by ones I've read, and have yet to read.
I think the zoom feature when reading on PC is pretty well done now, and it's still pretty hard for me to pass up a 2 dollar vol. on sale. So if you don't mind waiting for the sales or reading older books, it's worth it.

NICE! Oh man I remember reading it when it fist came out in like 92'? or so and just having my mind blown. Enjoy!

193869 I'm currently doing the new Ultimate Black panther (vol.2)
More of the Max Bemis Moon Knight, also vol.2
I didn't love vol.1, but figured I'd finish the run.
More of Phillip K. Johnson's Hulk
and I'm hoping to start in on some of the DC Absolute titles.

Oh nice! That's good news. Nigerian writers have been super popular recently and it's great to see representation in so many different mediums. Storm is such a badass that I think it must be pretty hard to write a story that is compelling for her that doesn't diminish her character.

193869 Hey!
I'm Matt from the SF bay area but currently living in Japan.
I've been reading comics off all types, and in various languages, since I was about 7.
I'll read or try just about anything.
Heroes are my nostalgia kick. I love a good slice of life such as Giant Days. Lumberjanes is my feel good book. Tons of classic Manga from the 60's-90's in particular. If I ever bump into Takahashi Rumiko, I'm definitely going to buy her a beer.
Sandman and other Vertigo books will also forever hold a special place in my heart...(man I need to go and re-read those now!) The list goes on and on! Good to meet you folks!

193869 I also really enjoyed them. The comics are different enough from the TV show that they're worth reading. As stated above, they are pretty graphic both in art and theme. The grit is part of what makes them great, but might make them not be ideal for a binge read.

I personally loved the idea that the supers are also just people, most of whom have A LOT of issues and beyond their image, are no Hero at all.
