J. Denise’s comments from the Solomon Editing and Beta Reading group.

You have finished your manuscript and now would like some honest and detailed feedback on how you have done, what can you strengthen and maybe even what you should leave out. I can help you with all those issues and so much more. I will immerse myself into the world you have written providing not only my emotional reactions (where I laughed, cried or was angry with one of the characters etc.) but where I felt confused as a reader or simply wanted more detail. I will respectfully highlight overall areas for improvement to consider when you are ready to do revisions. For example, if you have provided no descriptions of the background scenery or there hasn't been any dialog for two chapters while the main character has been in their head the whole time. Ultimately as a beta reader, I do not believe there is a one style process that is appropriate for all manuscripts, each one is as unique as the author who wrote it.
