Thank you so much, Carole! I agree the role of Cecil is very interesting! I have to say the more I wrote about her death, the less sure I became regarding the cause ...

Thanks for the link! I've quite often seen this, that people add or rate the same book several times over. I'm sure in most of the cases this happens accidentally -- definitely a weak point in the system.

It's not about the 2 star rating. That's o.k. It's that goodreads allows multiple ratings. One person reads the book and two bad ratings are the result.

Hi all! Has this ever happened to you? You get a 2 star rating as the first rating for your new book (that's bad luck, perhaps, but o.k. of course); but not just that, but you get two 2 star ratings from the same reader on the same day! The GR system obviously allows this, but I think it's unfair as browsers will think two people didn't like the book, intead of one, and it will also drag down the overall rating of course. (I've had very positive feedback from other readers who don't do goodreads). Here's the book: Amy Robsart: A Life and Its End
