2051 #13. An Echo in the Bone (Outlander #7) by Diana Gabaldon

This one had so many more cliff hangers than the previous books in the series! I am in love with these characters though... cannot wait for the next book!

2051 #3. Splendor (Luxe #4) by Anna Godbersen (1/27/10)

Jessica - I was actually pleased. I think that the ending neatly tied up all the story threads in a realistic sort of way. While all of the books seemed to assign more modern emotions to these early 20th C characters, their final paths are certainly not true to the time period (imo). However, I liked it in that they seemed fine paths for modern young readers (who may not necessarily understand the actual social pressures of that time period). All in all, I liked it. Hope you do to! Let me know after you're finished and we could talk more about the particulars.

This is a great series. I still have to read splendor."

That is my next read - starting it tonight! It will be my first book on my new Nook as well - excited about that too.

2051 I used to read this much, but have fallen behind with work committments and my 2-year-old son. I am determined to get back to my bookshelves and I am hopeful this challenge will keep me motivated all year!
