205200 Most are a combination of both. Sometimes I'll remember something one of my friends or relatives or a complete stranger says and it'll come out of a characters mouth LOL!
Thanks for asking.
Sorry for the long delay in answering

Heaven (2 new)

205200 Yes my own belief as well as some descriptions from the Bible. I honestly believe Heaven is a magnified version of Earth...where everything is beautiful beyond description and, since Albert Einstein said time is an illusion, it makes perfect since that what we think or desire to see would manifest immediately. :-)

Great question Alicia!

205200 No Judy, I have a cover artist who does beautiful work. Delia Latham of Heaven's Touch Designs. If you ever need one, she is really wonderful. I loved this cover so much I've entered it into a contest!

Great question, thanks for asking.
Good luck and God's blessings to you

Well Casi, this one simply came to me. I'd sent off a collection of stories to my publisher and had a vision of a girl scrolling through her newsfeed muttering "Bah Humbug" and the rest evolved from that. I don't plot so most of my books just evolve. It can sometimes be funny.....I didn't even know Jeremy's last name until one of his patients shook his hand and said "thank you for agreeing to see me Dr. .... " I asked and he answered 'Hinton' LOL!

Great question. Thanks for asking.

205200 Margo wrote: "Pamela: What was the inspiration in this work for Keri fighting both a physical and (in a sense) a spiritual illness?"

Y'know Margo, I had no idea where this story was going when I first set out to write it. Like many, I don't like the commercialism of what should be a holy, sacred time of year. And, like many, the controversy over when Jesus was actually born is confusing. I absolutely LOVED the movies Heaven is for Real and Miracles from Heaven and so, having Keri actually visit heaven and find the truth just seemed to work.

Great question! Thanks for asking.

205200 I started writing nearly 35 yrs ago in 5-subject notebooks. Did that for 11 years then graduated to a Word Processor for about 6 years then a computer. The same year I received my computer, my first novel was accepted for E-publication.

The rest (as they say) is History.

Thanks for asking, Alina!

Research (2 new)

205200 Actually this story basically wrote itself so I didn't have to do a lot of research per se' .... however I've been studying Energy Medicine, Energy Psychology and reading spiritual NF for years...not just religious, but spiritual...books by Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Louise Hay, Catherine Ponder, Cheryl Richardson, etc...really open my mind to the many levels of spirituality a person is capable of if only we let go of our preconceived notions and fears.

Great question!
Thanks for asking.

205200 Hi Debra,

Since I write Inspirational I always accredit God/Holy Spirit as being my muse. If I had to say what inspires me personally I guess it is just writing the kind of story I want to read. I always must have a HEA so my goal would be to write a story that makes the READER feel good and believe in HEA also.

Thanks for the question!
Good luck and God's blessings to you.
