Fast paced, well written and emotional love story.

I fear Freida McFadden is off my radar going forward.

5 stars, recommended read
PS - In Chinese culture, names are believed to carry significance and influence a person's life. Some believe that a name can be changed to improve a person's fortune or destiny, potentially by introducing a new element or changing a character to one with a different meaning.

This one moved at a slower pace, which sometimes makes it hard for me to stay invested, but the deliberate unraveling of secrets kept me engaged. Love the fierce bonding between the family.
Solid 4. Recommend read

Repetitive, “way too long” with absolutely zero new contribution; the fact that there is an audience for this book scares me … all the examples of a white privileged woman is somehow helpful and relevant how?
The theme of the book is a poem by Cassie Phillips. Mother Theresa also said, “Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.”

By now, most of us are aware of the negative effect of social media if you do not have ‘self control’. We do need to socialize in person via sports, live concert, religious, festival gathering and not only through social media! One must help each other to create a balance.
Great read to help parents these days, a bit repetitive but it is a great reminder how to be mindful, fully present and how to foster a better / “healthier” environment for the next generation.
Honestly it is so much harder to be parents (and managers) these days, but we all must do something to help re-balancing and protecting children/ next generation; social media is becoming another form of “drug” to some. We must act collectively just like no selling cigarettes to underage

Two stories intertwined into one big love story.
The first half was a bit too long, but hold on and let yourself finish the predictable ending. Good for the soul to read a cheesy love story once in a while.
Create your own beautiful life!

Writing is good but poor plot (thankfully a short book) about people that I don’t have much interest in, with an unsatisfying ending. I found myself repeatedly looking to see how much was left (for a SHORT BOOK - that’s not a good sign lol)

It has a promising mystery / thriller plot and potential beginning; however the story started to drag on and became very dull (70%) with unnecessary twists (all predictable) which felts clumsy and the writing wasn’t good either, so I ended up just skimming through to the end. No surprises~
Pretty disappointed.

I was fascinated by the foundation of the story - all those love letters written by the PM. The story was dragged on a bit too long though.
Solid 4

I really enjoyed the setting of The Stolen Queen. The author takes us from the glamour of the MET museum in NYC and its gala (IYKYK) all the way to Egypt. There was a lot of action and suspense, (and love?) which I wasn't expecting, but definitely appreciated.
