207975 Good Perspective....i see this as the beginning of a new era where space travel or travel to the edge of space or Low earth orbit is becoming more and more common. Yes , it is true that these are now accessible for a small group in the world who have a few hundreds of thousands of dollars available to spend on a trip that is few minutes long , but this is the very beginning ,almost all new technological wonders we have seen in history were available only to the rich in the very beginning but after few years or decades , in this case as rockets are more and more reusable , the prices will be no where near what they are now. I would say this is a pretty good start.

But first I must know if they understand me !"

Yes , in my opinion , that would be the biggest, challenge before asking all the big questions , ...to actually figure out a way to communicate , because any problems in doing that , could potentially result in disaster.

That's an point. As a person who is involved in the medicine field , and having read some of the fascinating things about our own biology , and all the different mechanisms involved in making us what we are , , i would surely be more interested in knowing their physiology.....Interesting perspective.

Yes Jared , Black holes and time warps is a great book to start with , you can read COSMOS by Carl sagan , A brief History of time.
These are what i call surface level books .
If you want to go a little deep into astrophysics LECTURES ON ASTROPHYSICS by Steven Weinberg is a great start.

207975 Christmas is a start of many great things .......And speaking of Astronomy, it only takes a person who wonders about things, And when the curious mind...meets the vast sky, Love for Astronomy emerges from deep inside you ......Great story Mr.Jon

207975 Yes ... I get it, But Voyagers didn't perform this amount of research on anything that far .....

207975 Great news...Heard it today ......It is 1 billion Kms away from Pluto ...Damm ...That's far. And it is going to be the Farthest Object, humans humans have ever observed, I don't hope to hear any Groundbreaking or wild new observations, But that distance ...1 BILLION from Pluto ...gets me everytime I hear it......Just a machine created in some little place on this little planet has is capable of going that further and talking us back what it sees...That is very unbelievable for a moment .......Great
207975 That a deep one ........

207975 No friend......It does not occur above the earth's atmosphere. It usually occurs in the interstellar gas clouds. When this Cloud collapse under their own Gravity.......and forms a planet or any celestial body ...These elements produced during Spallation can be found in it......

207975 Actually.......... This was invented when scientists found out about the abundance of deuterium.they found out that there is more deuterium than there actually should have been if it were only produced by fusion.............But this process clearly explained the imbalance and ended up being the answer to the abundance of lithium and beryllium and boron too

207975 My Brain thought all the elements we are made of and surrounded by, were made inside the Stars from the fusion of elements, or By high energy Supernova Explosions ......But as it turns out, Elements like Lithium(commonly in batteries), beryllium and boron .were created by a process called COSMIC RAY SPALLATION.

It's principle very simple. these high energy cosmic rays from Interstellar space have enough energy to actually Split the Nucleons (protons and Neutrons) into smaller atoms. These elements are actually produced in the nuclear fusion inside stars but the fusion continues bypassing these elements and producing more heavier ones.

What I love to say is ......Due to this process, today we are able to have these mobile phones with batteries ......without this process, Maybe the world would very different from what it is today .....

207975 Glad to have you in the Group Mary. But what are Space Operas? ...Have never heard of them
207975 Pretty good questions ...>And ....Rick and morty ....hahahaa.....good one

207975 Hello Blayn , First of all, We are sorry for the late reply .....And We are really glad to have you in the group And yes Kerbal Space Program is a game I was obsessed with for many months. We are really looking forward to having a lot of discussions in the group in the near future.

And to all members sorry for the little Dormancy of the group. Our group will function like before from now on.

207975 I just Realized another Fact ...Stephen Hawking was born on the date of Galileo's death, the 8th of January. He has died on the date of Albert Einstein's birth, the 14th of March.......This is more than just a Co-incidence......
Mar 14, 2018 02:10AM

207975 Hello , As you all might already know . Professor Stephen Hawking Dies at the age of 76 on 14th March 2018. I was devastated to hear this , this morning . If feels like the world has lost another Bright star , As every other Big Bright Star . This too has left an Great and Wonderful Supernova Remnant Behind after its passing ......But Unlike Any other star , This Remnant will last In out Hearts For Ever......Thank you for all that you have Done to the Humanity Professor..
Rest In Peace
