208074 What was unique about the setting of the book and how did it enhance or take away from the story?

Found the setting to be what I expected with the brilliant white walls and corridors, then it was like being on earth

> What specific themes did the author emphasize throughout the novel?

Death was the main theme with touches of guilt, love and acceptance, I found it emotional too

> What do you think he or she is trying to get across to the reader?

That there is more than this one life

> Do the characters seem real and believable? Can you relate to their predicaments? To what extent do they remind you of yourself or someone you know?

Yes, I could relate with a few characters throughout

> How do characters change or evolve throughout the course of the story? What events trigger such changes?

They became more in many ways and achieved a higher understanding of life

> In what ways do the events in the books reveal evidence of the author's world view?

I found it believable from my own personal experience

> Did certain parts of the book make you uncomfortable? If so, why did you feel that way? Did this lead to a new understanding or awareness of some aspect of your life you might not have thought about before?

Not at all

> Did you like the book? If you have read any of the author's other books, how does this compare?

I did like this book and I have read a few of this author and have not been disappointed by any of her works

208074 That sounds good
208074 I quite enjoyed this book, nothing made me uncomfortable within the story itself it was the actual reading that got me frustrated by the errors that kept croping up. The actual plot was great and I was saddened by the begining where she is held prisoner I thought it was quite moving there, I felt for Lee at this time
I liked that the other world so to speak is right under the nose of the everyday person and that we are blind to them
It lacked in some real emotions which I believe will come as this auther progresses with her work and her own life's experiences. I have read others works by this author and I think she has a great talent though she needs to take more time before releasing her work to minimise any risk of bad feedback

208074 Yes but it's not great there is nothing really exciting
208074 So glad it was not just me sigh, just picked up Grace Hudson's second book of Ferts so I'm on that
208074 Ok so I have finished the book, I was hoping for a great read but found it a bit disappointing kind of long winded at the begining, I found it was better from the 69% mark and more interesting then on I did like the ending too
What do others think?
208074 Well I'm hooked by the writing style already
