Hey everyone!

My name is Manda and my pronouns are They/Them.
My favorite genres are young adult fantast and adult romance!
One of my favorite series (among many) is the Scythe series by Neal Shusterman.

Can't wait to meet you all and get some books off our neverending TBRs!

This readathon is very laid back. We don't want anyone to feel pressured by this. But that doesn't mean it's a free for all. So here are a few guidelines. Some of these things you don't necessarily need to follow. Others, it would be preferred.

1. Each readathon will take place the entire month. We want to do these every few months (probably 3-4). It will start on the 1st of the month at midnight and end (techincally) at midnight on the 1st of the next month.

2. All of the books that you count toward this readathon MUST been books that you owned or ordered BEFORE we announce that month's challenges. We won't have a set date for when we release the month's challenges. It will depend on what's going on the prior month. For example, July has a lot of readathons going on at the end of the month, so we decided to announce August's challenges earlier in the month so people could figure out their TBR and not stress about it during the other readathons.

3. The goal is to complete 6 challenges (I know that seems like a lot but hold that thought). Obviously, this readathon is for you guys so if you want to complete one challenge, do one. If you want to do all of the challenges, do all of them!

4. Now, back to the 6 challenges. You can use 2 challenges for one book, but no more than 2. So, that means that, technically, to "complete" the readathon, you would read 3 books minimum. We wanted this to be relaxed but also challenge you to read your TBR books.

That's it! Other than being respectful of other people and their opinions, there's not much else to say. We are all (mostly) adults here. We can treat each other like human beings. If you are being rude to another member, you will be removed from this group and all other Read-a-thin social media. No warnings. BE RESPECTFUL!

2. Read a book that is the same color (or a similar color) as your birthstone
3. Read a diverse book
4. Read a book with a title or author with the same first letter as the first letter in your first name (the words "a" and "the" don't count)
5. Read a book that is related to your favorite emoji
6. Read a book starting with a letter from TBR (the word "the" doesn't count)
7. Read a book with a summer themed cover
8. Read a book with a warm colored cover (orange, red, yellow, brown)
9. Start and finish a series
10. Read a book in 24 hours
11. Read a new to you author
12. Book with water on the cover
13. Read a book set in summer
14. Buddy read a book
15. Read a book recommended to you by someone in the book community
16. Read a guilty pleasure read
17. Read an adult/new adult book
18. Read a book outside of your favorite genre
