Yeah, Suze guessed who Laurel, Ash, Holly and Jude were - I suspected it was a different timeline but I didnt connect who they actually were until Suze mentioned it to me the other day.
I really loved it, and the scene between Rowan and Olive in the storm was perfection!
Victoria wrote: "I’m starting to enjoy this book even more now that the characters are interacting with each other! For a while there I was getting confused with the amount of characters there are and the different..."Yeah, that took me a while too, there were so many people to remember!

So, I kind of finished the book - I couldn't put it down last night and I couldn't stop reading!
I'm going to type out all my thoughts tomorrow but I am so excited to discuss the whole book with you guys!

So, I’ve gone up to page 253 because that’s the end of the chapter and how can you not after that scene?! Urgh. I love them.
I’ll write more tomorrow as I’m half asleep now but I have so many thoughts and theories and I love this book!

He really is, so often parents in YA are very 'normal', I love that he's got some real personality to him, he cracks me up.
Yeah me too, she's seeing her for who she is and realising that she is developing her own opinions on the world, and I really like that.
I did too, but now i'm not so sure, it's such a mystery!

Okay, so I just hit page 150 and I’m really enjoying the book especially now the characters are meeting each other and starting to piece things together. It’s really interesting how each name represents something in the book - I wonder what that means.
I feel like Olive and Rowan may potentially have forgotten they know each other? Like, he’s convinced they do and she doesn’t know him at all so does that mean they did and they’ve lost the memory of it?
I’m really enjoying the diversity in the book, I’m loving that all the girls have different body types and different appearances.
I thought Rose’s text messages were very realistic - that this guy has started being abusive when she didn’t want to see him again, and I like that she’s met Hazel - I want to see more of them together.
Anyway - I’m half asleep so my thoughts are all over the place but I can’t wait to discuss with you all!

Yeah it’s really hard to remember the individual character descriptions - it’s driving me mad 😂

Okay so I'm 50 pages in, and liking it so far. I'm enjoying the writing style, and while there's a lot of characters that have been introduced already I think I'm keeping up! I'm liking the diversity at this stage, sexuality, Olive's hearing aid - that was a pleasant surprise, something you don't get in a lot of young adult books.
I'm definitely intrigued!

It's been done in page numbers as it seems we don't have numbered chapters! The discussions are all ready to go, so don't open "Pages 1-50" until you've reached page 50, for example. Then go in and discuss, and then carry on reading!
Feel free to ask any questions as we go along if anyone is unsure, I want this to be fun for us all! :) Happy reading!

Discuss the finale of the book here!

Discuss up to page 350 here.

Discuss anything up until page 250 here.

Discuss the book up until page 150 here.

So, it turns out that Spellbook of the Lost and Found doesn't have chapter titles, it sees to have chapter names. (I had a quick peek - eek!).
So instead we're doing page numbers. Feel free to discuss anything in the book up until page 50 here. So your first impressions of the book so far.

Yay! Thank you so much for joining in on the readalong, I'm really looking forward to it!

Hi guys! What I'm going to do is create chapter discussions, so chapters 1-4 and so on, so that you can discuss the book in the safety of the topic so you won't get spoiled by anybody, and people can only discuss the book up until the end of the chapter mentioned. That way, you can discuss the book at your own pace without feeling rushed. hope thats okay! And there's no silly questions, don't worry!
