Be sure to check out her Pioneer Woman blog. Yesterday, she wrote a blog post contrasting four different 'approaches' to prepare cinnamon toast! There are at least 20 photos detailing different steps. And I found out that the way I knew how is the "wrong" way and what she calls Approach #Gross. lol

Can recommend a great cookbook - The Pioneer Woman Cooks by Ree Drummond. It is so much more than just a cookbook. She has a wonderful sense of humor, and a style of writing about her everyday life on the ranch that is very fun to read. And the recipes are good, easy to follow, with detailed step-by-step photos.

Yes, I think it was the epilogue that I really didn't like. And I agree the ending of the stand-off was realistic.

Read Bel Canto last year and was very intrigued by the beginning of the book. The development of the relationship between the characters was very interesting. But, was really disappointed in the ending as I did not like the conclusion at all.
