I am joining from Memphis, Tenn. I learned of this group through the book giveaway article on Den Of Geek, dated May 18 (Hap and Leonard: Of Mice and Minestrone).

My favorite author, today, is Lawrence Block. But on other days, I might answer with Joe R. Lansdale, Orson Scott Card, Robert Silverberg, Blake Crouch, or Ted Chiang.
