Review: The Secret Gift was a decent read. It was a villain origin story, and one of the things I liked about it was that I was rooting for Jezebel during the story and really felt for her character. I would say the world building is just a tad lackluster, however, this is a spin off/prequel story to another series, so I may be more satisfied with that once I read the other books. And I do plan to do that. I am excited to see where this goes and how she turns even more evil.

Knocking out those books on the tbr…and adding more. Lol

Wow - this has been a bear of a challenge. LOL I am on my third book for this prompt, as I was not enjoying the other two at all. I am pretty sure I'll be sticking with this one until the end. Though I was nervous at first. I started it - and the Kindle edition was 179 pages. Paperback came through for me!
