Junior did that because he wants to show the difference between whites/Indians. Also to show that white people have more of a brighter future then Indians. Also in the difference in how they dress. But thats not true. but Indians are considered rich because they have casino.

I THINK THE BIGGEST TURNING POINT FOR JUNIOR WAS WHEN HE DECIDED TO CHANGE SCHOOLS.HOW HIS LIFE TURNED WAS WHE HE DIDN'T HAVE FRIENDS AND WAS CALLING HIMSELF A "RETARD". NOW HE HAS FRIENDS AND HE'S VERY CONFIDENT NOW. HIS SELF-ESTEEM BECAME HIGHER.THIS TURNING POINT WAS IMPORTANT FOR JUNIOR BECAUSE
HE CREATED HIS FRIENDS.THE PEOPLE THAT WAS INVOLVED IN HIS BIG TURNING POINT WAS; HIS DAD. MOM, GRANDMOTHER,COACH,ROGER, GORDY, AND PENELOPE.

Junior likes to draw because it helps him express his feelings. How it benefits him is that his ex-best friend
Rowdy would look through it and love it. Also one day he can maybe major in it.I don't think it helps him with his life, I just think it's a hobby of his.He might outgrow drawing cartoons because he might run out of things to draw. And he might major in something else!!

I don't think that Junior is being selfish at all, I think he's trying to have a better future ahead of him.
Plus Junior was generous to ask Rowdy if he wanted to come, but Rowdy got mad and beat him up.

im here and im reading the outsiders
