I'm not getting any of my notifications lately...And I posted the dang Challenge and I checked last week and couldn't find it...WTH?! I had the same thing happen in TCF for the Factory Report and I think I posted them on the same day. Anywys way to late now!!!!

I am going to try to keep up on my duties for the next couple months but with the wedding stuff going down I will be stretched a little thin. Let me know what you want me to do and I'll make reminders in my phone so I won't forget! Hope all is well!!!

Yikes Alana! That stinks that you all got it:( It was just me around here so my daughter was able to help take care of me while my fiancee was out of town!

I will get the challenge posted tomorrow or Sunday...I have family coming in for my birthday party this weekend but they will leave sunday morning so I'll get to it no later than that (maybe before if I need to hide out from them for a bit! lol)

So glad you got "bored" Dawn and started this group! I have been a member of many groups but for me this is like home on GoodREads! I love being a part of it and made some really amazing friends:) And seriously we have a great bunch of Mods!

Dawn I feel like yours should be at the top since you started the group but since I started the thread there is no way for you to edit it...However if you message me what you want to say in yours I can copy and past it in the very top post under the Meet the Mods graphic! It's up to you:) it was just a thought!

Hey ladies I started the threads...I got the Meet the RIME Mod Squad up and going so now all you girls have to do is go post a little about yourselves! I just reserved a spot and I'm going to go in and add my here in a bit! I asked no one to post until we had all added our comments:)

I also got the 2013 New Release folder up! I did it in 2 different threads for the new releases and then I made a thread about the most anticipated books of 2013 so people could gush about the books they are dying for their release!


Let me know if you see anything I should change or add...I kind of threw them together!

Hmmm, A little about me...

The Basics: First and most important I'm a mom, I have a teenage daughter, a teenage stepdaughter, and a teenage cousin that I have helped raise since she was 3 (this is where the slightly unbent part comes into play 0_o heehee!) I was married for most of my twenties, took a break as soon as I hit 30 and I'm giving it a second chance with someone I have been friends with since I was 18...I decided to let him out of the friend zone and I couldn't seem to shove him back in there once he was out! I'm actually planning my wedding now so if I'm a little more cookoo than usual that's my excuse and I'm stickin to it!

When I Grow Up: At the moment I am a substitute teacher and I have recently been trying out Medical Billing from home. I have decided to go back to school and FINALLY get my elementary education degree...I'm excited to work with the younger kids seeing as how I have my fill of hormonal teens from H. E. double hockey sticks!

My Spare Time: Hahahahahahahahaha! oh, that's a good one! Spare time! LOL! Okay now that I stopped laughing I guess when I do have spare time I read (duh!) and get on GoodReads (double duh!)...hmm, I also like doing crafts and baking...that about sums it up really!

BOOKS!: I guess I should write a little about my passion for books...Hmm, I have been reading since I was young. I ate up books like Sweet Valley Twins, Baby Sitters Club, and really anything I could get my hands on! I would hide my Christoper Pike books behind my school books during class (and coming from a goody goody that was seriously afraid of authority that was very risque for me!) When I was 15 I was introduced to my my first romance novel A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux and it was all over...I couldn't put the books down after that! I read it all back then, Stephen King, Anne Rice, any romance (especially Historical) that I could find and it has only gotten worse since I joined GoodReads a couple of years ago! Now I read a lot of PNR and Contemporary Romance but I still read a variety of books and I love being able to share that passion on GR's with others that are just as book obsessed as I am! I have also discovered that I am a feind for Reading Challenges! I love creating them and participating!

That's about it...Thanks for being a part of the group and I hope that us Mods can help you navigate RIME and GR's to the best of our ability!

Okay ladies I will get the New Release thread up and going and then I could really use some help knowing what books to add! I'll let you know when I get to that point:)

I will also add a Meet the Mod thread where we can each post a little about ourselves in it... again I'll let you know when it's up!

Dawn, I don't know...sometimes FB works the way it should and other times it is the bane of my existence! lol I hope you get it to work, but if not its not that important:)

I was thinking maybe we could add a New Releases in 2013 thread...I know we used to have a monthly post that we put up but I was thinking of something a little more simple...Like one thread and make one list and let other people comment in the thread if there is a new release they think we should add (we could edit it) or if someone wants to help out we could do it in two threads, I could do the first 6 months and someone else could do the last 6 months? I was thinking I would make each month its own comment box in the thread so that I (we) could edit it easily as people let us know about new releases...What do ya think?

Also do we have a Meet the Mods type of thread?

Oh crap! lol Did it ask which group? Well if you can't get rid of it just try and uninstall the GoodReads app from the page...I thought it looked like a good idea but sometimes technology sucks! hahaha

ALSO...I tried to link the group to the Facebook page where it does the whole "Display your group bookshelves, discussions, polls and more on a Facebook Fan Page wall tab." and I got through all of the steps and on the last one it wouldn't let me go any farther because I wasn't the Administrator!!! GRRRR! Anyways Dawn I thought if you wanted to do that here is the link with the instructions

I think you should just be able to go to our page and click the GR's Tab now (so starting with #5.) since I already did the rest but I'm not sure... Just thought it would be cool
