388646 I cannot wait to read it. I am on hold for that book. I am working my way through Alice Hoffman's 'The Rules of Magic,' and really enjoying it. A tale of a family of witches that believed they are cursed if they fall in love. It is a curse that has been handed down the generations. I am looking forward to finishing it today.

388646 I've finished book 5 of the year. Off to a good start and listening to audio books in the car is really helping and a great way to make my commute go by nice and quick. Here is my review :
The Witches of New York by Ami McKay The Witches of New York by Ami McKay (Goodreads Author)

I really enjoyed this tale of witches in NYC in the late 1800's. Though it had a slow start for me, once I was half way through I really could not wait to find out the fate of these three women. Religious zealots, strong women, feminist tones- this book had it all. If you love women's history, witchcraft and a good story, I highly recommend this book. And a bonus, it is beautifully done.

388646 I just set my goal at 70. That was my goal last year, but I made it to 65. I am starting off the year with 'Ginny Moon" by Benjamin Ludwig and am listening to 'The Remains of the Day' in my car. Happy Reading everyone.
