I think I currently have 10 started.

My books are alphabetized by author and then by title.

I read one book/Nook book, and I listen to two audiobooks. I listen to one in the car during my commute to and from work and I listen to one on a portable cassette/CD player at home while cleaning house.

Melanie,
I wish I could tell you what to buy next. I'm mostly into Mysteries and Suspense, even Romatic Suspense. I haven't read any of the books you listed. Are they good?

Melanie,
What have you bought with your $100 gift card to Amazon so far? What do you plan to spend the rest on?

Hi all,
Had to tell you what I bought (but of course didn't need):
1. Bubbles Unbound by Sarah Strohmeyer (Book #1 in a series)
2. I Dreamed I Married Perry Mason by Susan Kandel
3. Carolina Mist by Mariah Stewart
4. Missing by Jasmine Cresswell (Book #1 in a series)
Anyone else been buying books they don't need?

Clayton,
I too am an Evanovich fan. I have read all of the Stephanie Plum novels and am currently reading Plum Lucky. I believe you can actually start on any of the books without having read the previous ones and you'll be fine. Her books are hilarious. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Reza, I live in the Cincinnati area too and love the bookstores you mentioned. I also like Books-a-Million located in West Chester. I also go to library book sales (Middletown Public Library and West Chester Public Library). They usually sell all the books you can fit into a brown grocery bag for $3. They even provide the bags. I come out with way too many books and have nowhere to put them, but I love it.

I'm like you, I don't want to waste a single minute. So, on my way to and from work, I listen to an audio book because I feel the driving time would be such a waste if I couldn't be involved in a book. Sad, I know.

As you say, it is certainly unimaginable to have a single moment without something to read. My husband was just making fun of me because I have a paperback book in the pocket of my robe, just in case I want to read. I'm most comfortable when I'm in my robe and when I'm comfortable, I like to read. What's so wrong with that?

My name is Karin, and I too am a bookaholic. I listen to two audio books at a time (one in my car and one on my portable CD/cassette player in the house. I also carry a paperback book in my purse, have a hardback book on my end table by my couch and carry one in my car for emergencies. I have way too many books to ever read them all and I continue to buy them. I love trading books with others but I always want my hardback books back, just in case I want to read it again. And, besides, I love the look of my hardback books lined up on my bookshelves. Sad, I know. And, I too keep buying them. I guess there are worse things to be addicted to.
