NEWS! GRRM announced this morning that there's a "real publication date" for A Dance With Dragons: July 12

I'm still working slowly through Part 1. I find that I'm spending more time reading other books instead of Dune. Maybe it's because this is a reread.

I pulled out my copy and had a chuckle when I saw it was the 25th anniversary. I see that they're selling the 40th anniversary edition these days so it's probably been about 15 years since I read this one.

But, I did read the first scene with the box and have to agree that this book will suck me in.
