Could we still read His Dark Materials at some point in the future though? I've been wanting to read it.

42787 Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins is my absolute favorite book of all time. Just looking at the cover sends me into deepthought mode. But before I read this I had not one favorite.

But similar to what Spacecadet said, I owe a lot of the reading I do now to Harry Potter, specifically Deathly Hallows. After those I read Secrets of the Immortal nicholas Flamel series (which is not over yet), then the Hunger Games trilogy. And now I'm on Unwind.

42787 I love Half-Blood Prince AND I thought Harry was very annoying in that book. But I still love it. That and Deathly Hallows are my favorites.

But I also love Sorcerer's Stone because I find Harry's complete ignorance to be amusing.
