I read To Kill a Mockingbird recently but would be happy to refresh my memory and be able to discuss it, I haven't read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy before so I'd be with happy with that choice :) I also have a copy of The Hobbit I've been meaning to read for ages so all those choices are good with me. I'm better with modern books, I sometimes struggle reading older novels (hense not joining in with Emma) so I'll try and join in with the more modern choices :)

Oh I've been meaning to read the Hobbit! I have a copy of it so I'd be happy to go with that. I've read the His Dark Materials trilogy but not in a while.

I love the idea of a book club, can't promise I'd be able to read along with every book if we kept it up but I could try and attempt some of them at least :) I've read To Kill a Mockingbord recently but didn't have any one to discuss it with when I finished so i'd be open to reading it again sometime. Other than that I'm open to suggestions :)

I'm another one with a lot of love for HBP! I think despite the dark tone of it I've always loved the comedy bits, and my two favourite couples get together in this book so that influences my choice quite a lot as well because I'm a bit of a sucker for that kind of thing. I was just thinking about why it's my favourite and only just realised that the first time I read it I was the same age as the trio and in the same year at school, so I could probably relate to it a lot at that time :)
The last three are pretty close though, I re-read those most often. And PoA was my childhood favourite so I have a lot of love for that one.
