I'm still here, and planning to read Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell before the BBC series airs.

30% through 11/22/63 now. It's good so far; interesting, but not really great.

I read His Majesty's Dragon not too long ago (working my way through Throne of Jade now), and thought it was great!
Now there's one chapter left in A Storm of Swords: Steel and Snow, so I'm finishing that before moving on to either Ready Player One or 11/22/63 (the Stephen King-time-travel-book). Don't know which yet.

Yeah, I think the "official" book should stay the one chosen on io9 - this group is a place where we can discuss that book, along with other books we read. Sort of an extension of both the #WednesdayBookClub and #io9BookClub. ;)

Added you as a moderator, @Kaila. ;)
Now to fix the big question mark, then update the book we read. More on that later. :)

Indeed! Should we just "steal" the old io9-logo? With the futuristic girl?

And we should probably have the great GeeseJuggler here as an administrator. I'm way too bad at keep this thing up and running. :/

To do that, we should start mentioning the book club every #WednesdayBookclub. ;)

What are you planning to read next?

Finished World War Z yesterday. Now halfway into
, which so far is very good. :)

I'm focusing on
World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks now, before I'm moving to Mark Z. Danielewski's
House of Leaves. After that it's the new novel by John Ajvide Lindquist (who wrote Let the Right One in), (freely translated) "Little Star". No supernatural stuff in this one, so I'm a little excited for which direction he's going in now. :D
