It has been suggested that there is no such thing as human nature; that our decision making capabilities can supersede any inborn tendencies or instincts. Given how much occurs outside of our awareness, however, suggests to me that there must be human nature and are more influenced by instinct than we would like to think. What kinds of conclusions about human nature has your work on the unconscious led you to?
