hi! I've got a historical romance novella set in the 1860s. My FMC is half Czech and I want to make sure I've gotten all the details right. I am, of course, happy to swap by being a beta reader myself.

So it really shouldn’t come to Theo’s surprise when she jilts him. Yet Theo isn’t relieved when his bride flees. He searches for her to understand what went wrong. I've written an 80k historical romance set in late Victorian rural England. The hero's mother is a permanent wheelchair user, and I do not have that experience myself. I would really appreciate an authenticity reader to let me know how sensitively and accurately I have portrayed the side character.

So I've written a YA historical fantasy (92k words) set in Orkney, 18th century. And while I did all the internet research I could, there's nothing that beats local knowledge and intimate, personal experience.
