Would love some beta readers to check this novel out. It's set in the 21st century and follows a group of teenagers with a variety of health issues with special powers. It's in its final stages of drafting and still needs a bit of tweeking but would love to see what people make of it. Open to send it in parts or by chapters. Just comment if interested in reading. Being a teenager has never been a walk in the park for anyone, hormones, teenage rebellion as well as twenty-first century society to navigate through, it’s a pain in the arse for everyone. But some face more challenges than others. Some even have to battle with their own health just as Althea does. However, unlike the majority, her health condition gives her power, a power she has always kept hidden. We all know what would happen if a person possessed a supernatural or even magical power, the government would sweep in, tests would be done and if it can't be controlled you would no longer exist. It’s been seen countless times in films, tv shows and books- I mean look at Marvel, Eleven from Stranger Things or even an alien film. Except it won’t end well in real life- there’s no humanity in anything seen as a threat.
Althea may not be able to stay secret forever…..
