You're the BEST!!! Thank you!

I don't feel like I'm terribly prolific. In fact, I feel like I'm rather slow. Some writers turn out a book every year. I'm hardly in that catagory.

The next book will come out in 2014. It's called China Dolls.

Books and films are always different. The film of Snow Flower was particularly so. Not uch I could do about it. Authors have almost zero control when it comes to Hollywood. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I really enjoyed that event too. What a beautiful building! I was awed to be there.
I'll be curious to hear what you think of the film. It's very different from the book.

I'll have all that information up on my website sometime after the first of the year.

The film won something like the Golden Angel Award.

Larry's been out of town, so he hasn't had a chance to do a contest yet.

Happily I don't remember your horrible review, which is good, I hope! LOL.
I never thought of it as a radical change. I look at Snow Flower and see a classic mystery format even though it is a so-called "literary novel."

I love all of your comments and observations. While I haven't thought of writing about Ticie, I have thought a lot about writing more about my Grandma Stella and the women in her family. One of these days...
Shomeret wrote: "Peony in Love as an opera in the same format as Chinese opera would be very appropriate, I think."Do you mean as a novel or as an actual opera? I first envisioned the story as an opera.

I sent your note to Wayne, and wow! I got an interesting response from him. I'd love to share it with you, but I really don't feel comfortable doing it in a public way.
I really want to thank you. Your note really meant a lot to me personally and it helped to get some things out in the open with Wayne.

I don't have the final schedule yet, but as soon as I do, I'll put it up on my GoodReads, Facebook, and my website.
