I just read an interview with Cassandra Clare where she said that if she did write a 4th book, that it would be about Simon, who is her favorite character.

I do not hate Simon, I feel sorry for him...here he's loved Clary practically all his life and she just thinks of him as a friend. It's so sad, you guys must have some sympathy for his situation. I do, of course, prefer Jace as Clary's soulmate, but that doesn't mean I despise Simon. It's like Team Edward vs. Team Jacob all over again!

I've just reread CoB and will start CoA again tomorrow in preparation for March 25th...I love these books and I'm in the 'they are SO NOT RELATED' camp.
