TIME WARP
Duration: February 1 - February 28, 2025
or, if you prefer, travel through time doing your own 'time warp' by reading books from different centuries or decades.
1.
It's astounding
Time is fleeting
Madness takes its toll
But listen closely
Not for very much longer
I've got to keep control
Read a book that involves aging, madness, or control.
2.
I remember doing the Time Warp
Drinking those moments when
The blackness would hit me
And the void would be calling
Read a book with a black cover, dark subject matter, or involving addiction.

3.
Let's do the Time Warp again
Let's do the Time Warp again
It's just a jump to the left
And then a step to the right
Put your hands on your hips
You bring your knees in tight
Read a book featuring sports or dance, or with a body part on its cover.

4.
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insane
Let's do the Time Warp again
Let's do the Time Warp again
Read a romance or erotica book, or a book that changes your perspective.
I Love the Earl - Caroline Linden 2/4-

5.
It's so dreamy
Oh, fantasy free me
So you can't see me
No, not at all
Read a fantasy, a book featuring a dream, or with a visually impaired author or character.

6.
In another dimension
With voyeuristic intention
Well-secluded
I see all
Read a science fiction or spy book, or one with an introverted main character.

7.
With a bit of a mind flip
You're into the time slip
And nothing can ever be the same
You're spaced out on sensation
Like you're under sedation
Let's do the Time Warp again
Let's do the Time Warp again
Read a time travel book, one with an unpredictable character, or including an abduction.

8.
Well, I was walking down the street just a-having a think
When a snake of a guy gave me an evil wink
He shook-a me up, he took me by surprise
He had a pickup truck and the devil's eyes
He stared at me and I felt a change
Time meant nothing, never would again
Read a horror book, or one that includes animals, a villain, or the devil.

9.
Let's do the Time Warp again
Let's do the Time Warp again
It's just a jump to the left
And then a step to the right
Put your hands on your hips
You bring your knees in tight
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insane
Let's do the Time Warp again
Let's do the Time Warp again
Read a book that contains the letters T-I-M-E-W-A-R-P in the title and/or author's name.
