I think I'm in the minority here when I say that I didn't like the movie. No one in the theater I was in took the movie seriously. Everyone was laughing. I almost had to leave the theater because I couldn't stop laughing. My friend that I saw it with did leave (but she came back a few minutes later). The dialogue was corny and seemed fake. Someone who had never read the book would be extremely confused and it wouldn't make much sense at all. Jace didn't seem like the badass he is in the books and Clary was pretty helpless. And I completely agree with what T.J. said about Magnus. He looked like Magnus but he didn't act like him. The only part I liked was Simon. He was just so adorable and I thought he was perfectly cast.

I still love the books but the movie just wasn't for me.

I can't believe she's writing this! I'm so excited to read more about Magnus!

As much as I love TMI I really don't want a series from Jace's POV. I love Jace but its almost too much for me. It would be like reading the series all over again because some of the scenes are already from his POV. I feel like it would take away from his character. I like how I don't always know what's going on in his head.

Actually now that I think more about it it is perfect for CoLS!

When ever I hear that song I think of Will and Tessa. I guess it could go with Jace and Clary though.
