Here are my available books for swapping
http://enlightenedbybooks.blogspot.co...

I just started that one as well. Should have a review up next week. I'll be interested in hearing your thoughts are well.
Ha! You are funny :)

It is. The hollywood Emma was a favorite movie period for many years, but Masterpiece Theater just does a great job. The actors are aged properly, you get more story, overall I prefer those versions to the Hollywood Versions everytime.

Which version do you prefer: the new Masterpiece Theater version or the Gywenth Paltrow version?

Ok folks, the BBC Colin First version vs. Kiera Knightly? Thoughts?

Let's discuss some of the Jane Austen movies and spinoff movies.
I'll start, what did you think of Lost in Austen? Anyone seen it?

Sure! I'm excited for it! In fact, I think that's a great idea; to discuss our favorite versions of some o the movies :)

Highly recommend checking this out ladies, loved the first chapter; I can't wait to find out what happens next!

Ooo, can't wait to hear about it!

Here is my review of a Weekend with Mr. Darcy by Victoria Connelly

Just a general spot to talk about what you are reading or plan to read.

Sure, what about just a general, "what are you reading" discussion. i'll add that and if you think of something else, feel free to add.

We can post our reviews here and then be sure to add your completed book to our group bookshelf so we can see what all we read at years end. Happy reading!

Would anyone be interested in creating a Book Swap for our group? I think we all have books to share, and I think it would be a lot of fun. I haven't really participated in many swaps, but my suggestion is, make sure your books have your FULL INFO on them (name, address, phone, email, etc.). Post anything you'd be willing to swap or lend out. Since this challenge covers a year, I say we swap like made as much as we can, pass those babies around. Just make sure they are back in the owners hands by the first week of January 2013. How does this sound?
Currently I have Darcy's Voyage, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Sense and sensibility, Emma and Northanger Abbey.
In a few weeks I will have read some of my others, and will post more for the swap. Let's have some fun!

Pride and Prejudice hands down, although to be fair, I have not read Persuasion or Mansfield Park and read Emma 15 years ago in high school.

I'm not sure I've read many of these, but looking forward to it!

I personally love the Carrie Bebris Mr. and Mrs. Darcy mystery series. Every book has been amazing and I sincerely hope she keeps the series going.
