I actually liked the smaller story moments (aside from Clark's Dad - that was odd) in there and the action less. Still it was a much better addition to Superman on film than many have been...

I hope it's good too. I enjoyed Man of Steel a lot more than many people I knew because it truly showed off the power of Superman in a way that didn't hold back too much, nor show too much either.

Not really - but I do like Gothic horror.

Sorry for not replying for ages Julius. The news is that it's basically (as I suspected when I heard that Wonder Woman would cameo) the beginnings of a Justice League movie. They've cast Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Lex Luthor and now Aquaman. Also the next film after this one (in 2017) is Shazam (so Captain Marvel gets to be on screen also). Then in either late 2017 or mid 2018 we may see the Justice League movie proper. Before we get some more joint spin offs... San Diego Comicon will have more details!

I thought I'd written a response to this...hmmm.
Yeah I really like them but I'm glad they got left out of the film. They were an interesting one off that did not fit into the narrative as a fast paced story.

I like the Thor films - just bought the Thor 2 dvd yesterday to watch it again - so yes I really really liked Thor 2 as a fantasy/sci-fi film!

It was a pretty decent one: I See Fire by Ed Sheeran (what a great voice that guy has) and Smaug was by far the best CGI dragon I have seen.

Yeah I liked it a lot more than the first. Smaug was magnificent.
