Thanks Karen and Laura. I'm currently reading several books for upcoming podcast interviews. And, I'm also reading Wise Guys, the non-fiction book that the Scorsese movie was based on.

This is one of my favorite interviews yet. As I mention in the interview, I share a similar background with Cook. We both grew up in the South and moved to the Northeast. Cook has some wonderful anecdotes about writing - especially how he ended up writing his first novel.
