Jimi-carol, I too love Amy Tan's books. The last one I read was The 1000 Secret Senses, it was really good!!
Right now I'm reading And The Mountains Echoed, I love the way Khaled Hosseini pulls you in from the first sentence. I recently finished The Children Act, not my favorite Ian Mcewan book.

Over the years I've collected several different bookmarks that I fell in love with and then promptly lost after using them a few times. When our youngest daughter graduated high school a year ago the photographer offered us bookmarks as one of the ways to share her senior picture. I ended up with about 30 extras and they are perfect for me! A pic of my daughter AND enough to spare per chance I lose some.

I just finished Alice Hoffmann's Seventh Heaven on my kindle for phone yesterday and am starting In Dubious Battle by John Steinbeck (old paperback) today. And I have a copy of Walden on my phone for "when I'm out and about" reading that I keep plugging away at.
