What are you reading this month?

I have been on a John Green tear and just finished The Fault in Our Stars. It's actually been awhile since I've picked up a paranormal book. So to make up that quota I am reading Archangel's Blade and Storm Born.

Bittersweet is staring me down too. Once I am done with Trial by Tears (that'll be an interesting review) I'll start that. I feel the need for some hockey boys.

Totally! Paranormal certainly covers the gamut. Including dragons!

I have no clue what my next paranormal read will be but I am excited to expand into zombies and post-apocolyptic reads.

Otherwhere.co is heading into 2012 with bite. As this year we will be hosting Slay the Read: 2012 Paranormal Reading Challenge. This is a huge genre with tons of great possibilities. Hopefully it will help expand your paranormal preferences as well!

- Sign up at Otherwhere.co for the Slay the Read Challenge and submit a link to your Goodreads account or blog where reviews will be posted.
- Read 12 Paranormal books in 2012. These can be YA, PNR, in print, audiobook or anything in-between.
- Have a blog or a Goodreads account where you can post your reviews.
- Link to your review every month at Otherwhere.co. Reviews are NOT required but do give you extra entries for the prizes.

BONUS CHALLENGES FOR SIX OF YOUR READS
- Brains: Read at least one book about zombies.
- New Watcher: Read at least one book by a paranormal debut author.
- Dismembered: Read at least one book with a body part/fluid/etc… in the title (i.e. Bloodlines).
- Apocalyptic: Read at least one book that takes place post-apocalypse (could be zombie, could be vampire, etc…)
- Being Human-ish: Read at least one book from the paranormal’s perspective, not the humans.
- Über Paranormal Activity: Read at least one book containing at least 5 of the following (vampires, werewolves, ghosts, faeries, zombies, ghouls, angels, shape-shifters, witches, slayers/hunters, demons, gods, changelings, monsters and aliens).
