Well it's a translation of a Chinese novel so the language might seem a bit odd. The characters might seem flat but that's because people are not that familiar with Chinese personalities. From reviews it seems the 1st half will be slow going and I'm still in the 1st half. There are some interesting theoretical physics in the plot so I'm excited to see how it goes

I'm making my way through it and it's pretty interesting
