71125 I don't know where to start or how to sum up the book. Bri did it better than I could. I haven't read enough of Neil Gaiman (bits of "American Gods", "Coraline", "Stardust") or Terry Pratchett ("Wee Free Men") to pick out specifically what sounded it like it came from which author and I was wondering how the story would turn out with two authors writing the story and not having them do a chapter each or whatever. But I liked it, the blending was seamless enough that I didn't feel it was mix or two completely different or clashing viewpoints and ways of writing.

I did detect a bit of a deja vu feeling with "Dogma" and I now I know why, haha.

71125 I remember I had read a book of his called "The Halloween Tree" a long time ago and I hadn't remembered the author's name until I had read "Fahrenheit 451" and looked up the other books he'd written and saw that he'd written "Halloween Tree". There have probably been others but that book was one of the ones that while reading it, I felt like I was dreaming with my eyes open.
So that was my first real taste of Bradbury. I haven't read "Something Wicked This Way Comes" but from what I've read about it, it sounds like more of the stuff from "Halloween Tree" or the same tone.

3. Science fiction, (mostly dystopian) swords and sorcery fantasy, nonfiction, (I do like a good biography or history book) classics, horror
4. I have a couple I'm in the process of reading. "Interview with a Vampire", "Tender is the Night", (F. Scott) "Four Past Midnight" (Stephen King)
5. since Good Omens was already picked, I'll just leave it at that. :]
