Toby hummed and went back to his notebook, doing nothing more than sketching in the paper.
``I think I would enjoy reading if I actually could`` he snickered, ``Instead I write, its easier to understand rather than other righting.`` he smiled, looking at the cover and making out the few words the other'd already told him were on the cover.
``That's a good name`` Toby smiled, stopping his writing a bit before closing the notebook and grabbing another one, this one a deep purple with the words 'You're my serotonin' written on the very top and a '-N' below it.
``What're you reading?`` he asked, continuing to jot down words.
``Thanks`` he muttered, placing his pencil down and grabbing the soda from her. He opened it and took a sip, scrunching his nose up a bit from the fizzling feeling.
``A coke would be nice, please`` he smiled sweetly at the other before looking back down at his notebook.
Toby looked up when he heard the sound, he hummed and smiled as he looked back down in his journal. He was writing something, kinda based on his childhood that he so longed to bring back.
Those nights he and his friend would sit under the stars of the moor.
Toby walked over to one of the chairs and set down the notebooks. Pulling a pencil out of his bag he grabbed the bee-sticker notebook and opened it to reveal a lot of writing (surrounded by bee sketches) and skipped to an empty page.
``I think so?`` he answered quizzically as he bent down to pick it up, the notebook was white with bee stickers littered over basically the entire cover, the only way to know it was white because of the backing, which had less stickers.
Toby entered the room, pushing open the door as he fumbled with a few notebooks (of which he never used for note).
One slipped and made a slight thud noise and he winced.

Backstory
[ Nathan doesn't remember much of his childhood, only knowing the time he'd spent alone wandering the moors with his parents. He remembers meeting Toby when they were both pretty young, often hearing more detailed stories of the two year old first meeting.
He was pretty sad when he heard Toby would be going away, not wanting to lose him due to the fact that they'd no longer have any way to communicate.
He expected Toby to forget him, but he knew he could never forget the other, he was constantly on his mind.
His parents ended up sending him to the Academy too, though when he got there he didn't dare attempt to talk to Toby, he knew if the other remembered him that he would approach him, Toby was like that. ]

Backstory
[ Toby was born into a pretty wealthy family, not having to worry too much about anything. He was home-schooled and didn't meet too many people for a while. Once his parents found out about the Academy, they immediately started figuring out how to enroll him, not wanting him to only have one friend and be able to mingle with others like him.
After joining the Academy, he didn't see his friend for a while, unable to communicate in anyway, the two stopped becoming friends. He continued on with his schooling, and when Nathan joined the Academy, he hadn't even noticed. ]
