Extremely late, but still posting my review here: Proust as Meditation

I hope a bit of repetition is tolerated here? If I were to go through the 80-odd page discussion, I would not get to the actual text at all! But still would like to comment now and then to confirm my impressions, as I read.

Proust once wrote: “A work of art which contains theories is like an article on which the price tag has been left.”

Good to keep in mind, this quote, isn't it?
