I’m so sorry to everyone that I’m not being as active as I should. I’ll get better this summer now that school isn’t taking up all my time. I’m nowhere close to 300 books, but I’m currently participating in Buzzwordathon (hosted by booksandlala on YouTube) as well as the page chaser summer reading challenge.
I’m so excited to finish up this year strong.
Good luck everybody.
Happy reading,
Amelia

I’m exactly 12 hours into the April readathon, and I’ve barely read. I ended up falling asleep around 2 am and woke up a few hours ago.
I’m listening to “Let’s Explore Diabetes With Owls”, which is a collection of essays and stories. It’s interesting so far. I’m hoping I can finish this and maybe two other audiobooks before the night ends.

Everyone is working so hard to reach their goal and it really shows in all the threads and lists of books everyone has read. I love seeing how much everyone is reading and it is a strong motivator to read more myself.
For March, I read 24 books so far, which was the most I've read in a month all year. I've been struggling with my migraines and trying to balance my health with reading is a challenge in itself. Regardless, I'm excited to finish out this year and keep reading.
I participated in the Popsugar-Rush this month, although I followed it very loosely. I checked off 15 books on the list. I will also be opening the thread for the book of the month soon.
April is National Poetry Month, and while I would love to celebrate this, I would still like to add other challenges for April. With that being said, if anyone has ideas for any challenges that have either- 1) already been created or 2) can be created - feel free to leave a suggestion. I might open a poll tomorrow for potential challenges for April.
THE APRIL READATHON WILL BE HOSTED ON SATURDAY, APRIL 6th!!

I didn’t know that it was also the Anatomical Shape of a Heart, with a new title and a very, very different cover. I actually own both “books” but I never knew.

I am happy to say that the March readathon will be starting in less than 24 hours (for me at least). I am planning on updating frequently and replying to any comments people leave during the readathon, so don't be shy.
As far as a plan for the readathon, I will be starting off by finishing up a few novels that I have been reading for quite a while. Once I finish those up, I will be reading the book of the month for March, which is Made You Up by Francesca Zappia. I have read it before and I loved it so much, I hope everyone else enjoys it as well.
I am participating in the Popsugar-rush this month, and I will open a discussion later today with more details and so we have a place to update each other on our reading journey.
What are you guys planning on reading during the readathon? Are you going to participate in the Popsugar-rush mini-challenge?
Happy reading,
Amelia

I know that I haven't been checking in as frequently as I would like to, although I am starting this thread because I have a few announcements for March.
First off, if you are trying to reach the 300 book goal, you should be at about 75 books at the end of March. I know that I am nowhere near this number, although I am planning on catching up quite a bit the next few weeks.
The March readathon will be hosted on March 2nd, which is in about a week.
I've been trying to create a theme for March, along with the book of the month. I decided that March is going to be a Popsugar Rush... The main focus of this mini challenge is to complete as many items off the 2019 Popsugar reading challenge as you possibly can in one month.
The challenge link:
Some of these challenges are as simple as reading a book that has a movie adaptation. While others are as difficult as a bestseller from the year you graduated high school.
The March book of the month is Made You Up by Francesca Zappia. I will open discussions closer toward the end of the month for the book.
Do you guys have any questions/suggestions for March?

Everyone is going so amazing in working towards their goals. I can’t even explain how proud it makes me to know that I brought this group together and now I can see everyone reading together.
Anyways, I haven’t been reading too much lately just because school and life is hectic as always. Although I am in a reading mood tonight, so I already have my tea and about 4 smaller poetry books. I want to really crack down the next few weeks and make my way through Mount TBR on my bookshelf.
I do know that one of my next reads will be the February book of the month, which happens to be Night Owls by Jenn Bennett. I read this book toward the middle of last year but it will be nice to read it again.
Anyone up for a Valentines Day romance reading challenge?

As January comes to a close, we find ourselves one month closer to the end of the year. I don't know how many people actually read the book of the month for this month, which was Stuff I've Been Feeling Lately by Alicia Cook. This book is written in poems, in the format of an old cassette tape. Each poem is a new track, and side A is different from side B. Side B is blackout poetry of the first side, tracing the narrators path of recovery after she faces loss and depression.
I would love to know what you guys thought about the book!

Actually, posting here was perfect and I'm so sorry I forgot to make a thread for it earlier. My readathon started about 9 hours ago but I had a killer migraine last night and I had to go to bed early. (Hence the lack of updates or posts.)
Anyways, now that I'm feeling better, I alternating between listening to What If It's Us by Becky Albertalli and The Thousandth Floor by Kathrine McGee. They are both super amazing books and I hope that I can get a lot of reading done today because I'm falling a little behind.
I really want to reorganize my bookshelves too today so I might be taking on that task here soon.

I can't apologize enough for how little I've been posting. The semester started back up again last week and I have been swamped with school. I promise I won't forget you guys.
It seemed like quite a few people liked the idea of doing mini challenges or group challenges so I'm going to try and have at least one every month starting in February.
I'm kinda falling behind on the challenge and I think I need to take my own advice and dedicate reading time away from school. Also, I started downloading a lot of audio books on my phone because that's just how I am.
Give me updates as you guys move along. Give me ideas with what to do with this group, tell me what you want to see being posted. Also, how many people actually read or is planning on reading the book of the month in time for a discussion?
Happy reading,
Amelia

I’m just checking in to see how everyone is doing with their reading goal. Are you on track so far? How many books have you read so far?
I’m ahead of my goal so far, I’ve read 10 books and I have multiple going at a time. I have an audiobook and a physical book at all times. I’ve been able to listen to the audiobook at 3x the normal speed so I’ve been flying through the books.
Should I start doing mini challenges throughout the year? I’ll open the discussion for the book of the month in a couple days!

I had duck a great time doing this and I’ve never looked forward to a reading group more!
