on different isles
but- we looked
at the same ocean;
we stood on the opposite shores
and waited
for the same ship.

our fate wasn't
a million blues apart
But
we nodded towards
the tragic destiny.

we would've prayed
to be together forever
If
staying away
wasn't more pleasant.

our love was just
a gamble on the winds
where
you were
a crisp autumn breeze

I was
the calm

Hi everyone,
This is Aiman Sabir. My med school doesn't give me a break to interact much with you guys. I'm sorry for that. Hope you all are fine and enjoying your time.
Here's a poem I want to share. I've been writing poetry since my childhood since it's something that flows with my breath and I just can't resist it. I hope that one day I'll fulfill my dream of publishing a book.
