78394 I'm currently trying to work my way through Gone with the Wind. It is by no means difficult, but I did have to take a break about half way through and read something else. I have resumed my reading and hope to have it done before I start back school (which should be accomplished fairly easily).

78394 ...the instant flash of lightning that illuminates the otherwise black night.

78394 I am 18 and read the book around a year ago. I enjoyed it and I think the themes are very interesting to think about. On the other hand, I read it with a high school book club and most of the younger students had a more difficult time understanding some things. It really depends on the reader's desire to want to understand them, in my opinion.

78394 Hello! I am Madison andI am from Tennessee. I love the classics, particularly British Lit. from the 19th century. I am currently reading The Road by Cormac McCarthy, and it is great! I can't wait to participate more in this group! :)

78394 The Road by Cormac McCarthy is really good. Most all McCarthy books are good; they all have a southern gothic feeling to them.
