78394 I wanted to comment about Rabbit Run. Rabbit (Harry Angstrom) is a shallow and unlikable character, but Updike is a great writer.
He builds characters of the book well, and the reader lives the story. The book should be read.
78394 I have read 36.

78394 This was a fun read. I enjoyed the first James Bond. I will enjoy reading others. I was shocked by how close he drew to Vesper. In that respect, Bond almost lacked objectivity (which other readers claimed he displayed too much).

Hi Laurie.
Welcome to the group. Mention what you are reading now, and we will give it a talk. I just finished a biography of Paul Newman, and I am starting Main Street by Sinclair Lewis.
