I have transmitted this discussion to the judge and the court will convene in one hour following a brief recess.

((I'm so sorry, my health took a turn for the worse so I was out of commission for a while, but I'm back and functioning!))
Finley placed his elbow on his leg letting his arm hold the weight of his head, his hand covering his mouth. He couldn't help but allow a muffled sigh to escape his lips when she told him that she still hadn't taken the cat to the vet. It would be safer for the cat, but he supposed that if she was already trying to hide the cat away in the school she may not have really had the chance to take the animal to the vet yet. His deep blue eyes followed the small creature as it was placed carefully back into the box it came from.
When Isabella asked if he knew anyone who might take in the cat he looked straight down at the ground. "Um... I'm not sure..." He admitted shyly. He didn't know many people in the first place so the question was a little awkward for him to answer. He would love to be more help, but when it came to having connections Finley was not the person to go to. Finley, however, looked back up his eyes alight, "I might know somewhere you can put her if that will help though!" He chirped, a small smile on his face. He may not have known anyone, but boy did he ever know all the places to hide in the school where no one ever went! he wouldn't mind giving up one of his quiet places for the little ball of fluff.

Finley listened contently, to Isabella's explanation. He always hated to see stray animals, the poor things were always unhealthy and small. The thought of them having to fend for themselves out in the wilderness was terrible, but he never thought to take them in and hide them away in the school. Whoever this Isabella was she clearly loved animals. Finley never had pets of his own, his house was full enough so he was never allowed to have one, but if he could he would love to have a cute little cat like the one he was petting.
"It was nice of you to help her out..." He remarked, momentarily drifting away again as he pet the cat. He though for a moment longer before speaking up, "Did you take her to a vet?" He asked Isabella curiously. Stray cats often had illnesses and he'd hate for the poor creature to die shortly after it found a home. He had moved on to scratching it just under its chin, his face adorned with a rare smile. Had it not been for the cat he'd still be in the awkward phase of trying to escape conversation and halfway to crying, but the fact that the cat was present, and the fact that Isabella was so nice, made things much easier for him.

Finley smiled awkwardly as Isabella excitedly bounced up and down, but was immediately taken aback by the meow. The box meowed. Why would the box meow? It took a moment for him to put together the fact that there was a cat in the box, but once he did he suddenly relaxed. Who could be uncomfortable around a cute animal? His dark blue eyes rested on the box while Isabella spoke, he somewhat heard what she was saying, but his attention was on whatever adorable little fluff ball was hiding in that box.
When she invited him to get a closer look at the cat he happily knelt down to see the cat. He understood life as an animal all too well so he had a soft spot for them, they were much easier to be around than people. With a contented smile on his face, he slowly reached out to scratch the cat's stomach. "She's adorable..." He responded absentmindedly, his head tilted as he pet the cat's soft fur. It was as if his antisocial behaviour had just melted away with the reveal of the cat. He completely forgot about his question, there was a cat and that was all that mattered.
For a brief moment, he looked up at Isabella, away from the cat. "Why are you trying to hide her here?" He asked her curiously. Finley doubted she could be all that bad if the cat wasn't bothered so he wasn't as apprehensive about helping her as he was before, but he was still curious as to why she had a cat in a box, he was pretty sure most people didn't keep cats in boxes at school. If they did he'd most certainly have hopped on the bandwagon.

Finley was unsure how to react to her laughter, was that a good thing or a bad thing? Such thoughts were immediately tossed aside when she spoke. Help. She wanted help. It appeared that he had dug himself into a deeper hole and what was even in the box? He pondered the possibilities for a moment, but he realised it would just go by faster if he helped out quietly, after he could return to his own thoughts. With narrowed eyes, he looked from the box to Isabella. Regardless, he was still curious about the box, but he wasn't about to ask, for all he knew she was going to hide a box of rabid rats, but once it was done it wouldn't matter to him.
"I... Sure, I'll help." He responded, his voice strangely uneven. He wasn't sure exactly what to do with the box, it was small so it wasn't like she needed help carrying it so he assumed she just needed a place to put it. "Is there anywhere that won't work?" He asked quietly. He wanted to know so that he didn't suggest any places just to get shot down on the spot. He had some spots in mind, but he didn't want start giving them all away for nothing.

Finley was unaware of the ramblings of the approaching girl. She probably could have continued without him ever noticing, but she decided to talk to him. Finley instantly stiffened as though someone had poured ice down his shirt. He froze up. He wasn't prepared for people and he was certainly not prepared to speak to said people. He stood silently just long enough to ruin his chances at responding in a manner that would sound natural. Noting this fact, he was immediately made all the more uncomfortable, "I- Um, hi..." He uttered, stumbling on his words. "I'm Isa- No, your Isabella, I'm Finley..." He explained in a haphazard manner. Forgetting your own name, smooth... He thought chastisingly toward himself.
He then realised that he should probably make eye contact and proceeded to shift his gaze from an area just beyond her shoulder to her eyes, his face red as he realised what a massive fool he was making of himself... He pulled his hands out of his pockets and clasped them tightly behind his back, squeezing them tightly trying to maintain composure. Wherever this led it was sure to be a tiring process for Finley and he knew that much for sure, but that didn't mean he couldn't try to get out of it... "Do you, um, have somewhere to be?" he asked with his best attempt at a nonchalant tone hoping she'd just so happen to of forgotten and that him asking would cause her to remember and walks away.

Finley stood alone in the hallways of the school, rocking back and forth on the heels of his feet. Most people didn't show up as early as he did, but the sooner he was up and out of the house the less likely it was he'd be barraged by trivia about antique vases or that he'd have to listen to his noisy little cousin in the morning. He didn't have anything to do at the school so early, he could have tried to get ahead on work, but that wasn't going to happen and so he just stood at the end of the hall, completely zoned out. His mind was far from the school, drifting out and about somewhere in Africa.
He had recently got a letter from his sister who was building houses in Africa and the very idea seemed crazy to him, to be out of Warwick doing wonderful things for people who needed help. He stuck his hands in his pockets as he imagined himself with her, far from his crazy household with the one normal person in his family. Alas, it was but a dream, he was born in Warwick whilst his sister hadn't even set foot in Warwick.

Isabella and Finley would work together well I think, she'd be curious enough to get him to talk and nice enough that he maybe won't entirely mentally shut down! Where shall we take them? Perhaps the somewhere in the school

I hope no one minds me doing this in reverse, but could we have a warlock for Finley? He's seventeen, I have no predispositions about the personality so if anyone wants to make the character they can have a field day with it.

NAME: Finley Arlo O'Reilly
AGE: 17
GENDER: Male
SEXUALITY: Homosexual
SPECIES: Familiar
ROLE: Warwick Student
APPEARANCE:
PERSONALITY:Finley is known to his friends as a very two-sided person. He's shy and very content to entertain himself, he struggles to communicate with new people and can quickly be reduced to a fumbling mess around a stranger. He tries to avoid meeting people because it's difficult for him, he worries that he'll make such a fool of himself so much that he forgets not to make a fool of himself. His family embarrasses him just as much as his lack of social skills and if a new person asks him about his family he will experience an immediate mental shut down and reboot. To avoid these problems he's learned to stay quiet, to avoid being noticed in the first place, both by his ridiculous family and all the strangers around town. The other side of him is the side only those he knows well have ever gotten to see. He has a hard time adjusting to someone, but once he does he turns into an entirely new person around them. He loses all sense of personal space and gives up on staying quiet, instead opting to randomly blurt out whatever comes to mind. He's quite sweet and attentive around friends though he is admittedly not brave. If you need someone to stand up for you Finley probably isn't the best choice, but he usually comes through when it really matters. When it comes to his friends he becomes vulnerable, he likes to believe that he can trust the people he calls friends so if they turn against him it's devastating for Finley.
HISTORY:Finley lives in a mansion, a beautiful one at that which leads people to believe he's rich. He's not and he hates it when people say he is. Sunset Manor, his idyllic home that has the envy of everyone who sees it is actually home to Finley, both his parents, his four grandparents, his aunt, his uncle and his little cousin, a home just big enough for all ten people. He struggles to keep up with the energy of his family, they all have weird little quirks, his parents are on a lifelong journey to "find themselves" and are constantly on road trips to strange places, his aunt and uncle are self-proclaimed "Extreme Antiquers", his little cousin has no volume control and seems to be stuck on "bloody murder", his maternal grandparents are hunting fanatics and his paternal grandparents are national bingo champs, the only normal person in his family is his older sister, Fio, but she lives far, far, far away from Warwick building homes for impoverished families all across Africa. He looks up to her and receives a letter from his sister every month, but aside from that, he's stuck with his crazy relatives. Despite his social awkwardness he tries to be out of the house whenever they are all home because the only things he struggles to handle more than strangers is his family.
Fortunately for Finley, his family's weird array of hobbies means they are all out of the house every so often. On these occasions, he'll usually ask a friend to visit, he hates how empty the manor feels when it's just him so the company makes him feel more comfortable. As someone who was born in Warwick, he is not human, he's a familiar. His sister, Fio, was born outside of Warwick and she has always attended boarding school and when she wasn't at boarding school she was on some trip to visit other relatives around the world. He's never even met his sister in person, but he envies the freedom she has, she's a genius and has learned all there is to know about the world, something he'll never get to do. His parents have yet to be affected by the curse for some reason and his grandparents are entirely unaware of the fact they are cursed, Finley has no clue exactly what they are, but he's pretty sure they are something. His aunt is in the same boat as his grandparents, but his uncle is descended from the native people of Warwick and as such so is his cousin, meaning that Finley is the only member of his family aware of the supernatural in Warwick.

Sure! I have:
Andi (an angel)
Musa (an incubus)
Cora (a werewolf)
Sahar (a witch)
Remi (a wa..."
My apologies, I lot track of time and had to go to sleep. Anywho, perhaps Sebastian? They're both old highborn supernatural beings with a penchant for being a little stuck up so that could be interesting.

If anyone is interested I have Kariya, my lovely Djinn heiress and student open for an rp! I don't have any particular place in mind so feel free to suggest anything!

Right? I immediately rhymed it with Gepetto in my head, but I doubt it is in anyway related to Pinocchio's father...
And it's a pleasure to meet you as well!
