I just noticed that this omnibus of a complete Fantasy series is running a promo for $0.99.
This is quite a good price for over 1100 pages and I really liked the series.

Drakon Book 1: The Sieve is for free on Amazon (for a couple days more).

It is the first book in a grimdark fantasy series (Think Game of Thrones meets Conan) about a man growing up in a barbaric tribe and having to survive its brutal politics.

There is a ton of violence, gore and abuse.

The series is 4 books long and completed. Have read it to the end and it was amazing.

Even though Swords against death is a book I've loved, I cannot remember said story. However, the background on the publication history was interesting

Not sure about the genre, it is a little mix of sword and sorcery, dark fantasy and historical fiction, but I have read the series (in its Greek version) and it was great.

English version is a lot more wordy.
